Graves Thomas Rotunda Injury Law Group Surprises Teacher For Appreciation Day

Treasure Coast law firm gifts teacher with gift card for supplies

Graves Thomas Rotunda Injury Law Group made a special trip inside the classroom Tuesday for Teacher Appreciation Day, celebrating the impact one area teacher has had during her tenure.

The firm surprised Mrs. Sandra Benham, currently a third grade teacher at Liberty Magnet Elementary, with a gift certificate for $300 toward school supplies and classroom needs.

“We wanted to show our appreciation for the commitment teachers like Mrs. Benham make to their students – teachers that go above and beyond,” said Joseph H. Graves, founding attorney of Graves Injury Law Group. “The dedication and selflessness she shows in her profession makes such a difference in the lives of the children she educates.”

“This gift has touched my heart so deeply,” said Benham, Liberty Magnet’s Teacher of the Year recipient in 2012. She has also taught first grade within the school. “I knew that becoming a teacher was the right thing for me because I wanted to spend my time every day doing something positive for children.”

That is a sentiment we can all appreciate.

Headquartered in Vero Beach, Graves Thomas Rotunda Injury Law Group spans the Treasure and Space Coast and is dedicated to representing individuals and family members impacted by a serious injury, illness or disability.
